Description

Sparto is part of the Malone Collection, combining a textured woven look with soft contrasting tones for a refined decorative finish. Created using coloured yarns, Sparto offers subtle depth and character, making it suitable for both classic and contemporary interiors.

Made from 100% polyester, Sparto provides a practical and durable fabric choice for interior applications. With a weight of 480g/m² and a width of 140cm, it offers a substantial feel while remaining versatile for upholstery, curtains and soft furnishing projects. The technical sheet also notes an anti-stain print finish, helping to support everyday usability.

Sparto has been tested to 35,000 Martindale cycles, offering good abrasion resistance for regular use. It also features OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification, colour fastness to light of 4, and rubbing fastness results of wet discharge 4 / colour change 4 and dry discharge 4–5 / colour change 4/5.

Application & Processing

Suitable for many kinds of upholstery and coverings within the upholstery industry. Also suitable for curtains and soft furnishings. Sparto can be processed using standard methods including sewing, tacking, sticking and nailing.

Please note: Do not use solvent-based adhesives.

Fabric Care

Machine wash at 40°C or dry clean.

Vacuum regularly to remove surface dust and fluff.

Clean stains as soon as possible to help prevent marks from settling into the fabric.

Use suitable fabric cleaning methods and avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning tools.

Do not over-saturate the fabric with cleaning fluid or water, as this may cause discolouration.
