Basketweave is part of the Malone Collection, combining a textured woven appearance with the strength and practicality of a performance vinyl fabric. Designed for upholstery and covering applications, Basketweave offers a durable surface with a polyester backing, making it suitable for interiors that require both style and long-lasting performance.

The fabric is made with a 100% vinyl surface and 100% polyester backing, giving it a strong, wipeable and practical finish. With a weight of 850g/m², a width of 140cm ± 2% and a thickness of 1.3mm, Basketweave provides a substantial, high-quality feel for upholstery projects.

Basketweave is built for demanding use, with an abrasion resistance of over 100,000 cycles, UV resistance of 1,000 hours, and a light fastness rating of 6. It also offers waterproofing of over 200cm water column, antibacterial and mildew resistance treatment, and fire-retardant performance tested to key standards including BS 5852 Part 1 and IMO MSC.307(88).

Application & Processing

Basketweave is ideal for seating, panels, contract furniture, hospitality settings, marine-style applications and other environments where a strong performance fabric is needed.

Fabric Care

Clean using neutral soap.
Wipe regularly to remove surface dust and dirt.
Avoid harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive cleaning tools.
Do not bleach.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not dry clean.
Ironing is not recommended.
